Tony Grimmett

The founder and Head Guide of Pronghorn Guide Service. In 1986 his brother, John, took what has become the Safari Club International World Record prongohorn. After that hunt word got out that these Grimmett's might know how to hunt pronghorn and hunters began requesting that Tony or John assist them on their hunts. Tony realized after a couple of years that he was particularly good at this and formed a guide service, but he didn't form just any guide service. He realized that guides and outfitters were in abundance and that the trophy quality that other outfitters were guiding clients to was subpar. It was because of this that he built Pronghorn Guide Service around the foundation of taking only trophy antelope and, as evidenced by our video, that in the pronghorn hunting world "Size Is Everything."

At 26 years old Eli is the youngest of the guides.  He has to his credit two monster antelope - one from Utah scoring 89 SCI (87 B&C) and one from Wyoming scoring 87 SCI (85 6/8 B&C). Eli started scouting antelope when he was 8 and has since developed several unique scoring systems to assist in scoring one of the hardest animals in the world to field judge.  He spends all his available time in the field and stacks up against anyone in the business.
